This is a short poem about falling in love and the fear that comes with it.
The stone ground below,
Has never looked so cold,
I'm afraid I'll end up like Othello
With emotions, uncontrolled.

My fear of heights keeps me,
From making a leap of faith,
But with you its so plain to see,
I love like a wraith.

Taking a deep breath I step
Forward until I am free
Falling into the depth
Where it is just you and me.

Cupid has shot his arrow and guides
His way with wings so white,
I see light in your brown eyes,
And it fills me with might.

I will continue to fall
Never hitting the ground
This is a never ending love, I call,
My lover has been found.
