The Armed Forces: Duty and Promise

The authored relevancy
Of our honored troops -
Projecting freedom’s
Passionate stances…
A glorifying statement
Of God’s gifts;
A safe world order
From the chastening rhetoric
And reputed ethics…

These service men and women
Go way beyond,
Reflected by their enormous pride -
The supreme battling
Of opposing sides
For the grimmest combatants,
Strengthening the lives of millions.

A sacrosanct duty
Of respecting liberty,
In service to this great democracy.
Soldiers embodying
A complete loyalty,
Purveying an oath
Of vision and integrity…
Adjacent to the promise
Of the glorious flag.
