Personal. About my artistic benevolence in the past at the cost of my soul and true love.
My full blond crown has turned gray for all to see.
My slight frame has expanded outwards like a tree.
I'm framed in darkness through other people's slight of hand.

No one truly knows,
As the saying goes,
That life's a gift
And I've cherished every day that I've seen.

Someday, I'll know the true love from my rose born from my dreams.
Until then, nothing that appears in my life's what it seems. Honestly.
And so now I encase myself with my art.
It's light shines out from the dark.
Outwards for all to see.

I'm sworn to my words that 've given away, silent am I.
Waiting out my days hoping for her love, hiding all my pain.
The wounds from which I bleed are upon my very soul.
I'm honor bound, no trace of a string from my gifts can be found.

My words I've given have hit home in every way,
My words I've given have hit home in every way,
My words I've given have hit home in every way,
If I should die before she comes my way.
My words I've given have hit home in every way.

(Back to the top, repeat)

Perhaps the day of her arrival into my life's today.
