Table Talk

“This is a beautiful table, but where are we going to put it?” Ted said, starting to unload it from his truck.

“Well, we can’t use that small room as a dining area anymore if we want to use this set. I was thinking the room we use as offices is bigger...” said Sandy

“Then what are we going to do for an office? We both do too much work at home to sit at the kitchen table, and if we use this table it will be ruined.”

“You’re right. Unfortunately, I know what we actually need. We need a bigger house.”

“I thought we were going to put that off till we’re ready to have kids.” Ted said.

“Yes, we were, but Honey.... we need the room now...”

Ted remembered this conversation vividly as he watched the third truck of brand-new furniture arrive at their new house. Suddenly he found himself wondering...

Why, in Heaven’s name, had he agreed?!!?
