FLOWER OR SEED

In the garden of life
you're meant to be a flower
you bud and blossom
every waking hour

you stretch and grow
nurtured by the rain
you drink your fill of love
and go to sleep again

if someone cares for you
you grow up big and strong

without the love and caring
you become a lonely weed
