It is a story about a lady that needs to get her Christmas Spirit back.
It was hard to believe that Christmas was just around the corner, Marcie mused to herself, she had seen the Christmas stuff

aligning the shelves in the stores. Then when a lady had purchased a Christmas ornament and Christmas paper, it all became real

to her. She just wasn't in the Christmas spirit of things lately; it was as if she'd lost her magic spark. Which was ludicrous, because

she loved Christmas, it was her favorite holiday! Then whatever was the matter with her? She was watching, no more like listening

to the show. It was still too early for her to even contemplate on Christmas, but she knew that it would sneak up on her before she

even knew it! Marcie hadn't even done any shopping, but she wasn't going to wait for the last minute, not this time, she would be

ahead of the game.

Marcie was tired but not she was trying to figure out how to get her spirit back for Christmas, when she felt a warmth light

on her face. She was exhausted, had done too much, only imagining things, she'd close her eyes then it would be gone, except

Marcie loved the feel of the warmth on her face. Then she opened up her eyes and saw a white light surround her, and a figure

of a person appeared.

''Please don't be afraid, I am here to help you!'' My name is Ara, and I am a spirit being from the spiritual realm!'' Her voice

was soft like a feather, blowing in the breeze. Marcie felt herself filled with contentment, relaxed, she hadn't felt in hours.

''Your, an Angel'' Marcie asked, feeling perplexed by it all. The feeling of the warmth glow filled Marcie with peace, and her

anxiety was diminishing.

''Yes, of some sort! You haven't lost your spirit of the season, its right in your inner being, in your soul, you only have to look

in your heart.'' The white light from the spirit being was filling Marcie with so much warmth and love, she could feel her heart,

opening up like rose petals.

''You need to close your eyes, get within yourself, now go back, time travel, way back to the first Christmas!'' All Marcie could

do was concentrate on the spirit beings voice, so soft as if she was floating on angel wings.

Marcie did just that the first scene was of her sister when they got there first apartment, there was only the two of them, they

didn't have much, a Christmas Tree with lights, and a couple of presents. They were smiling, singing Christmas songs, chatting,

all was right as rain with them. Then another scene came on this time it was when she first got married, same deal they didn't

have much, but there was happiness abiding all around. The third scene came along, when they had their first baby, and first

Christmas!

Marcie could feel the sense of peace, happiness, warmth that surrounded all the scenes, and it filled her with a sense of

wonderment. She knew that it didn't matter about the material things they were trivial, what mattered the most was being filled

with happiness. It filled Marcie with joy in her heart, they didn't have much in all the scenes it was the one consistent scheme

of things. Marcie now knew what to do she had to go out and spread the Christmas Cheer, and the spirit of the season would

come back to her full circle.

When she opened up her eyes the spirit being was gone, Marcie was going to go out first thing in the morning and start

doing her Christmas shopping, and this time she was going to be the first one in line spreading out the Christmas Cheer!
