What comes to your mind when you reach the age of 45?
Sonnet

Forty-five

Deep-sunken eyes and dream deprived
In daily hustle and bustle we survive

People say that middle age is a huge dive
That life begins at forty-five

Is that child in you still alive?
Is there still your inner drive?

Stronger in thought and tender in soul
From life great pleasure derived

For there's something for us to strive
Still there are hopes to thrive

Still better years to arrive
So walk out of your comfort hive

And give me a high five
When will you begin to revive?
