A poem inspired by a single word. (Content Warning: Reference to sexual assault)
"You can change."
They said.
"You don't have to be bad."
They said.
Their baseless information,
Fueled by inflation.
They have no one
To lie for their keepsake.

Childhoods.
"They were broken."
They said.

Bodies.
"They were abused."
They said.

I would have been dead
If I was born then.
I would have been dead
Cause I would have believed them.

They preach words from God.
Yet with incorrect context.
So in truth
They preach words from the devil.

People were deterred
When their lies were revealed,
And from their faults,
Came true people,
Yet the impression:
Forever lasting
For those who were forced to listen.

So. Aiat love.

Aiat understanding
Of the texts that we use as "weapons."
Yet we are not perfect enough to wield them.

Aiat peace
For people who do not think like us
And have no choice but to.

And aiat love
For those we have wronged
And those who have wronged us.

Aiat love.
Because love wins.
