Some poems for you to read.
Being a woman is hard.
Women have to walk in the streets at night worrying if they can make it home safe.
Women have to text friends after a night out to make sure their ok.
Women are told to wear tight clothes to look good for men.
But are told when they wear tight clothes, they're trying too hard.
When they wear baggy clothes, they get called lazy.
They're told to wear makeup to look good.
When they wear makeup, they get told their prettier without it.
When they don't wear makeup, they get told that they need it.
When they open up about their emotions, they get told that they're being dramatic.
When they don't open up about their emotions, their mental health gets worse.
Sometimes I wish I was a man.
