This is a story of you, your heroness and your heroic tendencies.
You are an unmitigated hero
And he who stands the test of time, erect.
Your chances of making it were zero
The world knew not what promise to deflect

You've lived your life to full, oh simple one
To take the slings and arrows as they may
Though you cannot ignore these simpletons
Thou rise to sun and shining every day

The temperature is rising as we speak
And there the metaphor it seems to say
That though by night and day, you feel so weak
You can't design your car without its clay

You'll never see what's hidden in the way
This life has loves, and then we go to play
