When my mother-in-law passed I could feel her spirit break loose from the Parkinsons . . .
Weep not for me
For I'm not gone
I've simply moved away
A better place I now call home
But you will have to stay.

My body, still and cold and numb
Is not who I became
My spirit soars on heavn'ly wings
And angels sing my name.

Grieve not for me
For I'm at peace
No matter how I look
I'm here, inside, between the leaves --
A message in a book.

I'll slumber now and then move on
It's you who has to stay
Don't weep for me, I just went first
To brighten up your way.
