Poem about fading memories
Echoes once flowed on the river called life

the bed now all but dry.

Exposed to light, tenacious rocks still shine.

I dare ask; can they dream still?

I’ve seen a shredded past tap the unknown

and silver ribbons do bind time.

In twilight imaginings become real.

They sing of withered soles of a faithful pair

on the journey along the river’s side.
