This is a Shakespearean sonnet about hope and redemption.
I went outside today and heard no sound
No pain of death retrieved within my ear
Of men, I am the happiest around
My life is shaped and built within my fears

I went outside today and there was light
I can’t believe I’m saying this, I won
If even for a day that turns to night
Then all my gains of daily strain are gone

I can’t believe I slept so well last night
So many dreams had seeped into my mind
To live my life, and be there, I was right
I killed my dreams and left them all behind

I don’t know what will happen, nor can I
I’ll live with pride until the day I die
