Poem of bottles in comparison to life itself.
Sometimes life is as empty as a discarded water bottle;
Other times it swells like the ocean.
The ocean,
Oh, how beautiful.
When the sun shines off the surface,
Happiness.
Yet the sun doesn't shine forever,
even on the ocean.
The tide moves, bringing the happiness with it, taking it,
Stolen.
Stolen like the emotions I want to feel.
Where could they have gone?
Why did they leave me?
Me.
A bottle.
Empty, unwanted bottle.
No more worth to give,
No more use to have.
Why discard bottles?
Bottles deserve to be recycled,
reused, do they not?
Me.
A bottle.
