in a Pantoum poem for the Writer's Cramp
In the year of twenty-three,
a spirit in the night
still brings some harmony,
about which we shall write.

A spirit in the night
croons a soothing midnight tune,
about which we shall write
beneath the light of harvest moon.

That soothing midnight tune
caresses our weary soul
beneath the light of harvest moon,
like Mama's chicken casserole.

Caressing our weary soul,
fireflies restrain the stress,
like Mama's chicken casserole,
so we can decompress.

Fireflies restrain the stress
and provide some harmony,
so we can decompress
in the year of twenty-three.
