There has been so many stereotypes, however, I will only share my own personal experience
Call me a Historian at heart but a revolution has been started because of our own National Hero, Jose Rizal who shared his own heartfelt sorrow towards his fellow Filipino citizens under the Spanish Colonization. Jose Rizal wrote the famous "Noli Me Tangere" which translates to "Touch Me Not" and "El Filibusterismo" which translates to} "The Reign of Greed".

You might ask how such novels ignited a war. Well, historians say that it opened the eyes of so many Filipinos to patronize our own heritage and to fight for our own freedom. These novels not only reached the Filipinos who lived here during the late 1800's but it also reached the hearts of other Filipinos abroad, particularly those living in Spain. The price of it is the life of Jose Rizal and our freedom from the Spaniards.

Now, let us discuss about writing in the common times.

People say that writing is just a hobby or that it is only a trivial thing. Maybe there is some truth in that, but I challenge such ideas.

Do you think that Writing is just a Hobby?

If you ask me, I do not think so. I wrote such introductory in order to share a glimpse of where I am coming from. So many people think of writing as a trivial thing to do while in fact it can change so many life of people. Without writings there will be no history, it is also difficult to write Science and Math without words.

For that I conclude that writing will surely take the reader everywhere.
