My first attempt at microfiction. Any and all critiques are welcomed and appreciated.
         They hurried through the parking lot, not wanting to miss the first play of the game. Their daughter’s team made it to the state playoffs. The night before, she excitedly reminded them about the starting time.

         They shoved a twenty to the girl at the gate and brushed past without getting their change. The mother weaved through the crowd. Dad carried their chairs, struggling to keep up with her. By the field, he started unfolding the first chair. She grabbed the other. “I don’t need you to do mine.” He finished and took a seat. She worked hers open and dragged it to a different area.

         They watched, cheering every time their daughter played.
