In remembrance of 9/11 - that historic arrogance of persuading evil through force -a poem.
The resemblance of hope and peace, this trashes -
Our crumbling towers in heartless pieces -
The terrorists unloosed decay and ashes
Upon a spirited nation which cherishes and ceases.

One can’t say enough, for this somber day,
Is rightfully confirmed as an egregious call…
For with every sunrise comes a purpose to play
That victorious version of a chaotic fall.

Those foreign aggressors, a menacing douche;
Their impropriety stands in horrific contempt -
Were it not for this unmanageable truth,
This universe of haters would dissolve, be exempt.

Let’s forever cast doubt on this 20-year war;
To unleash the resolve of our excellent military -
The Armed Forces engage in some arrogant tour
Every so often, so indulgently and summarily!

Disgusting hyperbole describes military action
By a stalwart, free nation committed to ending
The pertinence of hate’s devolving detraction -
The decadent era of spite is descending!

God bless those heroes who gave their lives
To serve this great nation so we can be free…
Because of these actors, our freedom survives -
And a war will be fought in their breath for eternity…
