A poetic retelling of the titular narrative.
A couple of Thomas's Brothers of Fry
Burst into St. Thomas's dormitory.
Acting amazed, the two did cry,
"Open your window; there're pigs in the sky!"

St. Thomas, astonished, set his studies by.
He opened his window and looked up high.
The other two snickered and said, "Why!
Never so foolish could be such as I
To believe in such nonsense as pigs that can fly!"

St. Thomas Aquinas said this in reply:
"I'd rather believe that pigs could fly
Than think to myself that my friends could lie."
