An October sunset
Magnificent to behold!
In the gloaming hours
A freshness fills the air
Yellow leaves kiss purple sky
Crimson turn to gold
the sun ball barely peaks
Then just before the twilight breaks
And moon light lands on water
night owls swoon and hoot owls hoot
the bats begin their thunder
The sky aglow fades in soft flashes
Magnificent to behold!
