A poem for PPC4
She and I went down
An alley like she did
So many times before

And the dogs were barking
A lot and I told her we should
Not go down this alley but
She said it was fine that
The dogs always barked.

Then three jump a fence
And snatch her up and I
Ran toward them screaming
To help her and then one got in
Between them and me and
Began growling at me and
Showing his teeth telling me
To back off so I did and I
Ran and got our dad's.

Those dogs tore her up
Dragging her down the alley
Like a rag doll. She was teasing
Those dogs and they showed
Her that day.
