A poem for a friend
Just when I think,
I was at the brink of losing it.
A hand reached in.
That hand was you my friend.
You'll never know,
Just how much you've done.
Mind in a dark place,
I tried to make haste,
To end it all.
The scars on my wrists,
A testament.
The smile on my face,
A message.
"Thank you"
