1. Laws assumed to achieve a common good risk making the common good bend to the will of the majority.

2. Laws held captive to the majority mistake self-interest as the common good.

3. The will of the majority moves by and through through the forces of the marketplace.

4. Intentions mean nothing in a market ruled by oil.
