a merry little poem
'Twas the seventh day of December, when all through the mall, Shoppers were bustling, with no time to stall. The red and green decorations were hung with great care, In hopes that the perfect gift soon would be there.

The clock struck noon, and the crowds started to grow, But the shoppers were ready, with their lists in tow. They scurried from store to store, with a sense of great pride, And found the perfect gifts, with no need to decide.

The Saturday} sun shone bright, as they left the mall, With bags full of presents, both big and small. They wrapped them with care, and placed them under the tree, And waited for Christmas, with great anticipation and glee.
