A train passes by in the night carrying what is in my imagination
A train goes by, chugging along
from my window I hear its whistling song
On a crisp, cold night
the sky so starry bright
I imagine what's inside its cars
maybe lost aliens from Mars
A thousand sparkling fairies weaving
spells many are receiving
Tiny unicorns juggle balls
before an audience of baby dolls
Many elves are also there
on their way to Santa's lair
Piles of presents are on there too
bouncing along with every choo-choo
All will get where they need to be
as they soon shall see
Meanwhile they enjoy the ride
as the snow gently falls outside.
