Hesitation sets in before the entrance
A dark cave full of evil and leering
With reluctance, I step forward
Becoming a pawn of its total fearing

A manipulative creature, spawn of the gloom
Lurks deep inside; its creeping up soon
Red eyes glow from every nook and cranny
My eyes so wide; my death is in bloom

A chest appears, glowing red like fire
I approach with caution as temptation takes over
It burns as I open it but still I continue
Inside; a gold locket shaped like a clover

With closer inspection reveals an engraving
'Tis my name in blood over a broken heart
So fitting for one such as myself
Someone whose soul is already split apart

Adorning the locket, a light begins pulsating
Filling me with the courage I will need to fight
The skinny beast emerges, drooling in anticipation
Another young victim to play with and bite
