Final Scrabble Plan

the final Scrabble

writer’s cramp
36

Joe Lewis woke up with ten strangers
From around the world
In front of a table
Where a Scrabble game was displayed.

The alien spoke up
Saying that the ten people
Were randomly selected
To play this game.

Each player would get one chance
To play a word that would become real.

Chinese played Chaos
Donald Trump won the election.

Korean played Lotto
And won One billion dollars in the US.

German played storm
The worst storm in history hit the world.

Nigerian played scam
Turning into a Nigerian scam artist on line.

Brazlian played Dance
And the world broke out in a mass dance.

French played orgy
And the world wide dance turned into an orgy.

Russian played Vodka
And everyone on earth drank vodka.

Japanese played God
And God appeared everywhere.

Arab played Israel
War eruppted across the mideast.

And Joe played Nuclear
And the world ended in nuclear war.

The organizer thanked everyone
And they were returned
To the post- apoclaypse in progress.

On Jan 19, 1955, the board game Scrabble debuted.

For tomorrow, write a story or poem set during a Scrabble game ... with the twist that, each time a word is added, it becomes 'real' in some way.

Feel free to make that 'reality' either immediately obvious or fairly subtle - or anything in between. For example, if someone plays the word 'fish', an enormous trout might drop into the room without explanation, or suddenly there's an aquarium in the living room that everybody but the one player thinks has always been there, or merely that a truck from the local fishery drives past outside.
