Experience when ill
just twinkling dusts on eyelids
forced open by persistent lights
peeping through the windows
remembrance of a smile

just sounds of the wind soughing
rustling dried falling leaves
jogging dormant memories
of then when promises mattered

sitting still looking far away
existing between light and night
forgotten scars gently tingling
remembering something almost forgotten.
