I cannot see you
But I feel you
Your warm, shaking breath,
Your tired movements
In the dark
I cannot see you
But I hear you
The scared whispers
The tentative steps
In the dark
I cannot see you
But I understand
Your need
You are lost
I want to find you
But my fallen body fails
I fail
And you are lost
In the dark
