Found an old photo.
Maybe when the time is done,
Strength will come easier,
When we get time,
Make memories,
Maybe when the time is done,
I get to see the many things
that your eyes say about you,
the stories of love,
of hope and finding that peace,
maybe when the time is done,
you will know me,
where you kind eyes touches
peers from the same old crinkled photo.
Maybe when the time is done,
We can tell stories of mischief,
of facing disasters that were mere glitches,
as time wrinkles itself into the future,
maybe we would be together,
even if still apart.
Maybe when time is done,
You will find peace,
The quiet in you mind,
Be discovered for what I already know
makes you brilliant.
Maybe when time is done,
the pictures have changed,
and we have all grown to be so much more,
when the crinkled up photo,
seems like so long ago.
