A poem about love and inevitability.
Ciera
oh sweet, Ciera
the world blends blue behind you
the camera flash and summer skies

underneath the willow,
the sun stops ticking
close your eyes and open,
your embrace

today's lovers,
tomorrow's strangers.
this warmth still glows
linger here.
promises

I wish, it wasn't
fading, dream
Ciera

your hand in mine, a fleeting grace
i'd give my soul to halt this pace
dream forever? Sweet the cost
But even dreams, one day, are lost

for love is but a promise
that can't be kept
even if,
you could see, me.
It was nice to meet you.
