We can feel cleaned out when a relationship ends
I am a hole dug with a shovel full of lies and deceit going deeper while unfaithfulness flows in ripples of watery dishonesty down walls of degrading disrespect and shame

Cavernous granite weeping guilt looms with anguish and despair, consuming flecks of hopeless, meaningless forfeited conceptions of connections

The void echoes and vibrates to base drum tones mutating into the tormenting moans of an existence no longer desired and tossed like trash

Engulfed in the cavernous unfathomable barren blackness, light flees before it is forever consumed and extinguished

Hollow and wholly held within a chasm of inexhaustible regret, eternally burdened by inaudible confessions, unabsolved and remaining empty
