Sam Adams Goes to a Pub
Sam Adams Goes to a Pub

21 lines

Sam Adams
after walking
in the Scottish Highlands
for days,

came to a village
and stopped by
the local pub,

he was pumped up.
eager to have a drink
with the dear nice locals
in the pub.

with a lopsided grin
he ordered,

“One bourbon, one scotch
and one beer”
and one round
for the locals

the bartender
took his money
rang the bell
and gave everyone
another drink.

Use these five adjectives in your story/poem:

eager,
dear,
nice,
lopsided,
pumped
