A love poem for my wife.
If my last breath were poetry,
For the world to remember me by,
I'd whisper one thing tenderly,
Your name, my love, to the sky.

I can see no finer word to say,
To encapsulate life's every hue,
In its essence, bright and gay,
Than your name, forever true.

And as I fade into the night,
My love for you will stay,
In every star, in every light,
Immortal, until the end of days.
