The gift that keeps giving...
After the last snow fell,
a rainbow emerged,
deep within a well.
Animals hopped, raced,
and flowers bloomed,
with an unknown future they faced.

Mother nature cared not a bit,
her sense of humor,
of rather dry wit.
Father time closed his eyes,
knowing the outcome,
it wouldn't be wise.

The little bunny ran through the grass,
not seeing what's hiding,
tripping on a stone and a shard of glass,
all over the place he was sliding,
under the rainbow is where he stopped,
his colored ears in the wind flopped.
