Daily we battle the grief of those we lose.
You passed away,
and I am still here.
There isn't a day,
I don't shed a tear.

Memories of your laughter,
thoughts of your smile.
God took you after,
you suffered for a while.

I can't be angry or sad,
This is the life we live.
A day more I wish I had,
For a hug I could give.

Why did you leave,
When I needed you to stay.
Alone I sit to grieve,
Silently crying everyday.

Brother, Make me stronger,
Show me signs you're okay.
I don't wish to cry any longer
Give me answers when I pray.
