 Preparation

Sunday's Finest.
At Home Reposed.
Peacefully Established.
Arranged for the Presentation;
Waxy Powder and Lacey Ruffle.
Two Bits for Fare. Red Light Pallor.
 Waiting Without Expecting. Lamenting.
 Face After Face. Questions. Answers: Do Not Come.
 Disbelief. Guilt. Anger. Begging. Loneliness. All Go Unheard.
Shut. Click. Lock. Roll. Begins the End.
Abandonment.
Quiet.
Forever


Alone.
