I started writing a story about 3 years ago, and I thought I should continue it.
This story starts out with a dreary scene, the roads worn, and cracked. The trees brown with few leaves. The few people left in the small city, walking slowly, and cautiously, always looking over their shoulder for anything out of the normal.

A small girl walks out of a shabby run down house. The shingles falling off, and the windows all broken. The small girl is about nine, she has blonde hair and blue eyes, she stands at about 4'8. She wears one of her only outfits she has, a pair of jeans torn slightly at the knees, and a shirt, that appears the be brown but, in actuallity it is white.

Everyone on the street stops walking, they all turn towards to the girl, she nods her head slightly, and they all start walking again at their normal slow pace.

The girl walks straight down the street. She passes a few run down cars with people living in them. She knows she is one of the lucky few who have a home. The small girl arrives at an intersection, and looks both ways, not knowing why, because there are no cars anymore. She then crosses the street, and arrives at a larger house than her own. This house has been well kept, although a few shingles are missing. The windows have been taken out complettely
