This poem is dedicated to my nephew, Lee Diamond Frisbey.
Lee Bee is only four years old
but he thinks he must be ten,
he and I are buddies
and I see him as often as I can.

I call him monster boy
because he is so big and tough,
and let me tell you when he throws a punch
it is not a bluff.

He is a boy that's for sure
he likes to rough and tumble,
and he is the boy I want at my back
if I ever have to rumble.

He likes to go hunting with his pop
and wants to see those deer,
I don't think that there is anything
in this world that he has to fear.

He loves his family that's for sure
of that there is no doubt,
straight-up honest and direct
is what he is about.

He likes to go for walks in the woods
with his dad and I,
he loves it when we go up
into the tree stands because they are so high.

He is fearless
that much is very clear to see,
and when we are in the woods
he likes to just run free.

His folks keep him
close and warm at night,
but they give him some freedom
when he is out in the light.

His beaming smile, his cheeks so big
make him a sight to see,
and that is why we all love
our little LEE BEE!!!
