Moments in Spring


red-bud blooms
sycamore leaves
fog steams from the earth
hills pour silver streams

lilacs make love
sun shines hot
fresh air throws a challenge
a breeze waits to be caught

sage shimmers gold
clouds float on high
old dreams ache and tease
and time slips on by
