This is kind of a prayer. Appropiate for these days.
She stood quietly in the doorway,
watching the Children play.
Oh, how she wished, oh, how she prayed,
that there would come a day,
when the world would become:
A world of Peace, a world of Love.
Were there others like her?
Mothers, Fathers, young and old,
losing Faith in their governments.
Democratic or not.
And some losing Faith in God.
Catholic or not.
Maybe one day all that Faith will be restored.
But for now there was doubt,
For with all these bombs,
how can we be sure,
That there will be a Future,
to restore our Faith?
