Blooms of the Heart
I If I were a flower I would be the Hollyhock.

I would grow tall and strong, but I would still need a support system so I would'nt topple over and get trampled upon.

I would only bloom after all the signs of spring were gone.

I stand tall alone.

My flowers are majestic in sight, bright with color and personality. Full of the desires of late summer right into fall.

I would slowly fade in the backdrop, still needing care, needing the loving hands of my caretaker.

My strong stems gingerly sniped, my mulch gently laid, time for my slumber with nature until next summer.

I return, stronger, more colorful, more desirable.

With loving care, and tender hands, as the years breeze on I will grow ever bountiful, ever strong, maintaining stature and grace.

Forever being desirable to all who visit my enchanted garden.

With love and understanding, one's blooms can forever live in our hearts.
