The Rainbow


The black mascara,
And the tight black skirt.

Dark-lined shirt,
And combat boots.

Her hair dyed black,
Hung loose about her face.

Her shining black nail polish,
Standing out against her fair skin.

Outside, she is swathed in black,
But on the inside, is a rainbow.
