Every time I go visit the cemetery they are uplifting.

"Uplifting Visits"

When I visit Mom and Dad.
I look around the country side
to see all the neighbors they have.

They have been placed
close together.
To remain there forever.
Yes it very crowded
in this little place.
This fact only God
may someday erase.

All around many different
kinds of flowers can be seen.
Every Holiday brings more
of these adorning things.

It is very quiet there
no noise can you hear.
Except an occasional
bird singing as he
flies through the air.

I often go to visit there
and sometimes I pray.
I often ask Mom and Dad
to ask God to show me the way.

I tell Mom and Dad of
any problems the family may
be having here at home.
When I visit the cemetery
and talk to
Mom and Dad all alone.

Dad has been there for 14 years
Mom has been there for 9.
I still routinely visit
their graves all the time.

My strength is renewed
by each visit I make.
I need to stay strong for
myself and the families sake.

I know as the oldest son
I have been left in charge.
To watch over the families
welfare acting as the Monarch.

They say God will never give
you a burden to heavy to carry.
This is so,
but I will always go,
visit Mom and Dad
while I renew my
strength at the cemetery.
