Storms inside a person that lives in pain.
Raging storms in my soul, needing to be released
My heart pounds like thunder, when it claps.
My tears fall, like rain washing me away,
like rushing water.
My body being tossed around, like a hurricane.
The winds blowing with all its might, pushing me away.
Shaking from fear, like an old horse ready to fall to the ground.
Like no one wanting me anymore, because I am too old and used.
Feeling my heart cry out from pain, waiting to be released.
The past hides within me, always lurking in the dark.
I am so afraid to live, because of the pain the hides in me.
The feelings I once have been drained, like sap from a tree.
Wishing the raging storm would go away, and leave me alone.
All my life there has been dark clouds, hanging over me.
As I sing out in pain, like an animal that's been wounded.
No one hears me, no one cares for the pain they put on me.
People blow me around, washing me from their life when they're done.
Slapping me to the ground, like when lightening strikes.
