A somewhat religious rhyming poem about humans, God, and life in general!

Earth to air,
Ground to sky,
Can you help but wonder why?

God made all these crazy things
Animals, plants, Human Beings.

Each of them unique somehow
The pondering of life begins right now

What good will humans ever do?
The things we create are nothing new

In God's eyes, we're all the same
He cares not about fortune or fame

Does He find comfort in seeing us live?
Does it bring Him joy to see us give?

Each sin, all wrongs and every lie,
Do these things make our Lord cry?

All these choices are hard not to confuse
Are we here for the sheer purpose- to amuse?

To Him maybe it's really just a game
He gives us challenges we must tame.

We conquer things and move along fast,
But will that success really last?

If you were Him, what would you change?
No amount of power is out of His range.

He makes so much, can't you see-
His greatest creations were you and me

He put us on this vast, great earth
Knew all our traits and gave us birth

And we, as people, don't know why
But let us vow at least to try

Try out all this crazy stuff
And keep on going when things get tough

For our existance must have a reason
So let us live without crime or treason

Animals, Plants, human beings
The Lord created all these things

Let us take the chances given
And within our lifes do some real livin'

Dark and light,
Fire and water,
We are each
His son or daughter

So do not stop to ask Him why
Just give yourself -and life- a try

Earth to air,
Ground to sky,
Spread your wings
And learn to FLY!
