Musings about life and humanity and what's becoming of it.
Why move on?
When I can sit here and reminisce
While the past hurts,
Who we are is based on it.
Where we've been
What we've seen, all that we've experienced.

We are who we are because of
What we see, hear, feel, sense

The Life we live
Measured only by what we have,
Blocking our ability to feel
Basing everything on materialism.

Our Life slowly drains away
Leaving empty shells
Humanity replaced by money
Humans replaced with soulless beings seeking recognition but achieving nothing.

Striving for immortality
We wander aimlessly through this Life
Ended abruptly we wish for more
Not knowing what awaits us on the other side
Reincarnation
Resurrection
Absolute Death

Whatever it is
Why try to beat it?
Deprive thousands of what they believe in
Science, Mathematics
Both proving the Bible wrong

But who is the judge of right or wrong?
Is it me or you?
That rich guy you envy?
Or the little old lady living in the cardboard box on the corner?

Losing our places
Losing our minds
It's just the same as living your Life.
So take advice from that stranger next to you...

Live Life to the fullest
That's why it's short
To teach you, not how to cheat Death
But how to enjoy Life, however short it may be.
