Guilt hurts.
ANGUISH

Who do you think you are
to rile me with wild thoughts of you?
To haunt and confuse me,
and worry me with your memory…

Was my sin so great
you’d make me suffer this way?
Possessed and obsessed
by your ghost everyday?

The worst is the madness
that springs from my sadness,
that never you’ll know why I did what I did...
And do you know my neurosis,
that you are my focus,
even now, after such time has passed?

I’d like to say I’m ok,
that the pain fades away,
but fact is that it grows everyday.
