a little depressing poem about childhood, please read/review
Childhood Thoughts

I used to fear and hate,
I cried myself to sleep.
I could feel my heart break
Every time she hit me.

It didn’t hurt outside,
But in my heart it killed.
To know she didn’t love me
The way a mother should.

So now I am all alone
I have no one to care.
When my heart aches,
Or even if it breaks.

So I sit here waiting
For the gentle concealing night.
Longing for its darkness
To close in around me.

When the night comes
I can fall asleep.
My mind will rest,
My heart will mend,

But it will just break again.
