listen up and listen good...
Shut up and sit down.
Now you listen,
let me tell you what.
I'm tired of you.
I'm tired of your excuses.

You think you're big.
You think you're bad.
Well, you wanna know what?
You're so far from right
that you're all wrong.
One day you're nice and sweet
like a man I once knew.
The next you're mean and cruel,
a man I know too well.

Shut up, don't say a word
I'm not through with you yet.
You choose favorites
as though one is more
worthy than the other
of the love you give.

I'm tired of how you think
that because I'm a girl
my opinions and my thoughts
have got to be wrong.

Well, you want to know what
Mr. I-think-I'm-God-Almighty,
I know what the hell
I'm talking about.
I'm smarter than what you
give me credit for.

So you sit there,
and you think if you are worthy
of my love
of my trust.
Until then, you can back off
because you are nothing
in these dark green eyes
